The SCENE.
Philby's is truly one of Huntsville's best kept
secrets. Many say if you blink, you've missed out on a great
time. The front door to this unique establishment is located at the
very end of the alley located on Jefferson Street directly behind the
parking garage
The venue itself is well known for its eclectic
and nostalgic
decor. And while the atmosphere may reflect that of a
traditional pub, the activities such as darts, a billiard table, NTN trivia,
'Golden Tee' and foosball provide it with just a hint of a sports bar.
The refreshingly friendly and fun staff are
always attentive to the needs of their guest and are quick to offer both drink and food suggestions.
Perhaps that is why we have won the coveted Valley Planet's
Reader's Poll for "Best Place To Get A Beer"
two-years in a row!
The guest, mainly groups and couples in their late
20's to early 40's, fill the lower level practically every evening,
while the mezzanine area is a great getaway from the usually crowded
bar area.
